Barry Kerr has been building guitars since 1984. Over the last 3 decades, he has refined many of the traditional construction methods to produce an instrument that is beautiful and durable with great tone and volume. Specialising in archtop and OM-sized guitars, his forward-thinking designs and incorporation of carbon-fibre and composite bracing have yielded some phenomenal-sounding guitars, built right in our backyard. Sadly Barry no longer takes commissions for his work, making this guitar all the more special.

This D'aquisto Centura-style archtop is a beautiful showcase for barry's impeccable craftsmanship. It features a carved master-grade Engelmann spruce top, selected by Barry from his formidable collection for its exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio and flawless colouring. The back and sides are constructed from solid, carved highly-figured Quilted Maple.
