The CMC-X Thumb Stabilizer helps provide pain relief from carpometacarpal (CMC) joint arthritis while permitting you to do the activities you enjoy. The patent pending design stabilizes the CMC joint by applying pressure to the base of the thumb while simultaneously applying an abduction force to the thumb. The "X" straps are easily adjusted to position the thumb in the desired degree of abduction. The adjustable stay pod works in concert with the "X" straps to provide gentle pressure and help stabilize the CMC joint. The CMC-X is primarily made from hypoallergenic CoolFlex material for comfort and compression. The CMC-X does not contain any natural latex rubber or neoprene.
